Project Two: Sustainable Product Service

The big Idea
Nowadays, passenger volume increase
at the airport every year, however, there are limited
chargers in the airport. People often feel anxious when their
phones are out of power. My design is a product service system that solves this
problem. The power bank is designed to charge
your phone in the
international airport by using the power bank lending machine.
The features
of this device:
-Multi-functional
· Phone charger- Use the phone while it is charging
· Boarding time reminder- Connect to Wifi,
renew the flight time, remind delay and boarding
time (vibrating system)
-Portable- clip on your clothes or pants.
-Chargers’ selection
We provide charging
cables include micro-usb, Iphone4/4s, Iphone5 and also
provide multiple charging cables.
Sustainability Concerns:
-Use the recycled plastics ABS
-The battery is replaceable.
-Green energy generates electricity
Lending Process:
Firstly, go to the lending machine and then use your flight ticket and credit card to lend the power bank, finally,
return it at the boarding gate.
it is a very convenient idea for people who need to charging but forgot to carry the battery or charging device with them with careless in the airport. but maybe you need to think about when they renturn this product during boarding time at the gate, it might extend or waste to much time and also increase the staff's burden to check tickets at the same time to do those things.
ReplyDeleteYour idea is good, and the airport would definitely be a convenient place to have it located. Have you thought about festivals as well? It is very easy to get lost from your friends at these kind of events, and electric sockets are often difficult to find, even if you didn't forget your charger. Why is it convenient to have use this as a service system? Wouldn't it be easier to simply charge it at the gate? Or does this take too much time?
ReplyDeleteit is a good idea, the location is good at airport and if it is at airport it is for long distence travel. have you thought about it could also be located at some public area so it is much easier for people who have short distence traveling. because most of them dont bring anything for recharge but long distance traveling people will bring computer or charger.
ReplyDeleteLike your idea and I think it will be a success, because at some airports there are not many charging stations. But I think you should look more at the price for this device. I do not think that people will spend 19 AUD for free wifi and recharging their phone in some few hours.
ReplyDeleteThis concept is a very useful concept especially because smartphones battery life isnt that long and constantly needs to be charged. So having these at airports is a good idea because the wait at an airport could take forever. The only improvement i suggest is that maybe you make it a free service that comes along with the airplane ticket? other then that posters are great and concept is good.
